You hear people discussing how art and science come together — and this is a fantastic example!
Check out the images on this blog — created by a photographer, Caleb Charland who also has a strong curiosity about science and captures it in unique ways:  http://www.petapixel.com/2010/02/15/scientific-curiosity-captured-in-photos/

You can also check out Caleb Charland's website with even more images from his collection — from demonstrations, to "biographs" (growing bacteria on plates with a variety of colouring techniques) to his latest work.

I volunteered with Let's Talk Science for three years before becoming a full-time employee in 1999. I have had many roles over my years with Let's Talk Science and am currently the Alumni & Community Partnerships Coordinator. I am also a co-coordinator of CurioCity and am responsible for finding and supporting our amazing volunteer authors and editors! When I'm not 'talking science' I am scrapbooking or playing 'Candyland' with my daughter :)
